Sea Mar Community Health Services

Sea Mar offers comprehensive health services in Western Washington. They specialize in primary care/family medicine services in King County. Sea Mar offers primary and preventive care at their clinics in Bellevue, Burien, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Seattle, Vashon, and White Center. Sea Mar accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, and will provide services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. When insurance is not available, Sea Mar offers a sliding fee scale discount based on household size and income.

Emergency Care

The following resources will help you find an emergency room (ER) near you. If you need emergency medical care do not hesitate to have someone take you to an ER or call 911 to have an ambulance drive you to the ER. Dial 911 on your phone and describe your medical emergency in English or tell them you need a translator for Dari or Pashto. You do not need an appointment for an ER.

Mental Health/Behavioral Health Services

Crisis Hotline

If you are suicidal and need help now, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255 or simply 988, both phone numbers will route to the same hotline. Although many services are available only in English, responders have access to provide support in over 250 languages.

 

Crisis Connections

If you or someone you know is feeling anxious, experiencing relationship or family issues including abuse, expressing symptoms of mental illness or health concerns, thinking of suicide, abusing drugs or alcohol, or need any other support with mental or behavioral crises, you can call the 24-hour crisis hotline. Dial 1-866-427-4747 or simply 711. Both phone numbers will route you to a responder with language interpretation in over 155 languages. 

Tip: To access language interpretation, say “Dari” or “Pashto” in English, and the responder will connect a Dari or Pashto translator.

 

Find a Therapist

King County Adult Dental Program

The King County Adult Dental Program is available for individuals living in King County who are ineligible for Apple Health or Medicaid due to citizenship status. KCADP covers teeth cleaning, extractions (pulling teeth), x-rays, nitrous oxide, fillings, routine exams, and fluoride application. If available, it can also cover gum disease treatment, root canals for front teeth (not molars), and dentures or partial dentures. Call 1-800-756-5437 to be screened for program eligibility.
